There are so many quotes out there that we know and are from great persons who have done wonderful things and accomplish remarkable achievements and to us they are one in a million . Considering the popularity of these sayings because of social media with its ability to share what we love, we now have forgotten or pay little or no attention to the ones which we all learned while growing up, we heard them mostly from our grandparents ,when we attended church and school. I have decided to share with you some that I truly love and remember.
This first one that I am sharing is definitely one of the most popular bible verses.
1 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
Another great bible verse is about our parents. Obeying parents in the Lord and honoring them with one’s life is a way to live well and to live long.
2 “Obey your parents in the Lord; honor your father and mother.” – Eph. 6:1-3.
Bible verses about love are one of my favorites. And this verse made popular by A walk to remember movie will always be in my list.
3 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4
Here are some verses that teach us how treat other people. Loving thy neighbor is one of the strongest messages the bible tells us.
4 “It is not good for man to be alone.” – Genesis 2:18. Human beings were made by God to function best when they have a companion with whom they can share their lives.
5 “And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.” – Luke 6:31
6 “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.” – Proverbs 13:20
7 “If anyone takes the life of a human being, he must be put to death. Anyone who takes the life of someone’s animal must make restitution–life for life.” – Leviticus 24:17-18
Whenever I want to give up, here are some verses I lean on. Verses that remind me that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and that rewards await every efforts.
8 “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” – Corinthians 4:8-9
9 “Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it.” – Ezra 10:4
10 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
Here are five more bible verses about life.
11 “A merry heart does good like a medicine; but a broken spirit dries the bones.” – Proverbs 17:22
12 “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.” – Matthew 6:24
13 “But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled.” – 1 Peter 3:14
14 “For the evil man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be put out.” – Proverbs 24:20
15 “For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” – Romans 8:6
Years will pass and millions of other books will be published. But the bible will forever remain as the most popular source of inspiration and guidance. So make it a habit to read the bible daily and you’ll see how it can change your life. Don’t forget to leave a comment too to share your own sets of bible quotes about life. And lastly, don’t forget to share this post to your family and friends – through it you are also sharing God’s word. Have a blessed day!
